It is a privilege to be able to support Portsmouth University through the “Entrepreneurs in Residence programme”. Part of my role for the last 25 years has been to provide and increase people’s choices & opportunities. Being able to do this in my own home city is an incredible honour!
Clive is owner and founder of the STR Group who were established in 2000, today they have 153 staff supplying permanent, contract and other recruitment solutions mainly in the UK, Europe and the USA.
STR is a Multi Brand niche market, recruitment company delivering its services via its offices in Portsmouth, Gatwick, Netherlands, Switzerland & Detroit.

Clive works as a Board member, has a focus on projects, process improvement, social value and champions Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, where STR has won awards from the Third sector and the main trade body for our industry The Recruitment Employment Confederation.
Clive is an enthusiast, a self starter, keen to kick new initiatives off socially he’s active and enjoys networking and meeting people. At home he enjoys most sports, is a proud father of 5 children and has adopted children. He’s now keen to ensure that his business represents the people in the communities that it sits and supports causes that he is passionate about.
