

Join us for our new Welcome Festival on moving-in weekend at Gun House Green for students and their parents and friends. There is plenty of room for everyone to try some street food, play games, go for a city or seafront walking tour, pick up a free houseplant and ask University staff any questions.
Drop by anytime during opening hours (no need to check in). Sit back, relax and enjoy your first taste of the campus and city - your new home from home.

- Need Street Food on site - buy some delicious delicious street food like BBQ + vegan bowls, and loaded fries
- Terrace Cafe - will be open all day for guests, providing a relaxed space to sit, ear and enjoy refreshments
- UOP Airstream - bacon rolls in the morning and then a street food option for lunch
- UOP Ice Cream Bike - guests can enjoy ice creams available from the new University branded bike

- Support Services Fair – enjoy games and craft, or speak to University staff if you have any questions about student life, housing, finance and wellbeing

- Free houseplants – to pick up and brighten your room!
- Get Connected - quieter drop-in space for students with disabilities, mental health, conditiion or learning differences
- Portsmouth Street Pastors - an interactive quiz, which people can take to raise awareness of what Street Pastors do.
- Andy’s Man Club - advice and guidance in support of men's mental health
- Solent Mind - self-affirmation paper chains
- King's Theatre and New Theatre Royal Portsmouth –community production details on how to get involved and be part of theatre in the community; show promotions and ticket giveaways
Icebreakers

University car parks will be open and available for visitors to park in on Saturday 21 September & Sunday 22 September. As non permit holders, visitors will be charged the standard rate for parking:
