Discover new cultures, grow your confidence
Studying or working abroad is a great way to broaden your horizons, immerse yourself in another culture, meet new people, learn another language and build up your professional skills to enhance your CV.
You can find out more about travel or study abroad and what is required in our guidance.
Student travel
All students traveling abroad are required to complete a risk assessment which will be evaluated by the applicable Faculty.
This guide will explain the risk assessment process, what you need to do and who you need to send it to. It also includes a handy checklist.
Overseas Travel Risk Assessment
This is the risk assessment document that you will need to complete and submit.
Students who are approved to travel by the University will be covered by the University’s insurance policy, with no additional cost to the student.
