Hello there I'm Janet and I'm Luke, and we're here today to give an insight into how you can use the information on this page as an international student and also an introduction to how we at the Careers and Employability Service support our International students.
At the Careers and Employability Service we can help you with all aspects of your career planning. On MyCareer, our engine that has everything to do with jobs, vacancies and events, you can find part-time jobs, you can find graduate jobs, you can find all our key events going on throughout the year. You're going to be particularly interested in the events we run specifically for international students. We offer a whole range of these events including how to tailor your CV for the UK job market, how to market yourself as an international student and we even have alumni events where they can come in and give you their tips as well so really look out for those.
You can get help with your CCs, applications, and interviews throughout the year and remember we are here not just for when you're a student - we work with graduates for up to 5 years after you leave.
So just use us we're here to support you and we look forward to meeting you.
