It’s important that you have access to the IT resources you need while you’re not on campus. Here are some ways you can continue to study and work remotely at the University - all you need is a stable broadband internet connection to make use of these features.

University software off campus

Students can access a number of University applications off campus on their own devices via AppsAnywhere and VPN. Details on installing AppsAnywhere and VPN can be found on MyPort.

Free Microsoft Office 365 

The University offers free Microsoft Office 365 to all students, visit MyPort to sign up.

LinkedIn Learning 

LinkedIn Learning offers over 40,000 courses on business, technical and creative skills and is free to all students.

IT support

The Service Desk is available 7 days per week. Core hours are 8.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am - 4.00pm on Friday. Outside of core hours, limited IT assistance is provided by our Out-of-Hours Team from 5.00pm - midnight.
