How did you find your placement role?

What advice would you give to students who aren’t sure whether to do a placement or not?
I couldn’t recommend doing a placement more. I have met some incredible like-minded people, from immediate team colleagues, other interns and more. Don’t be disheartened if you don’t hear back straight away, applications take time and sometimes companies take a while to get back to you. As cheesy as it is, everything happens for a reason, so keep working on your goals as you never know when you'll achieve them!
What advice would you give to your fellow students in year 1 and year 2 regarding their placement search?
Make sure you do your research, if you are looking for a creative role be creative with your CV and how you answer possible questions you may be asked by employers. And remember to always have confidence in yourself!
