We are looking to recruit players for the 5th annual staff vs students charity football match. The event will take place in May 2020, at Fratton Park, and will again be fundraising for Brain Tumour Research and Pompey in the Community. Since its inception, this event has raised over £43,000 for its chosen charities.
After 4 years, we would like to see the event grow and develop further. This year we are opening applications for female staff and students to play in the event
We are looking to recruit competitive squads who represent the diversity of the University community. Players will be selected through the process of trial sessions, which will take place at the 3G pitch of the Langstone campus on the following dates/times:
Staff team trials
- Wednesday 8 January 2020 9–10 pm
- Wednesday 15 January 2020 9–10 pm
Student team trials
- Saturday 18 January 2020 2–3 pm
- Sunday 19 January 2020 3–4 pm
