Building Ravelin Sports Centre is progressing well as internal finishes continue and our new sports facilities move closer to becoming a reality.

Over the last two months the sauna and steam room have been installed along with the bouldering area. The climbing wall is also under construction. The swimming pool area is being tiled and timber panels fitted on the ceilings. Beautiful wooden floors have been laid in the sports hall and studios, plus lockers fitted into the changing areas.

Outside the wildflowers have become established in the new amphitheatre and a stunning York stone plaza has been laid as part of the impressive entrance.

Our new sports centre will bring benefits to our health and the environment. Aaron Patel, one of our sports student’s explains in a blog why he can’t wait to get into our new gym and how Ravelin Sports Centre will create a new campus community.

Images show: tiling underway in the new swimming pool, the floor being finished within Studio 2, and the wildflower amphitheatre in bloom.
