We plan to offer you blend of both online and face-to-face activities when we return from the Christmas break.
However to provide an opportunity for a phased return of students to Portsmouth, and to provide a window for Covid-19 tests, it's been agreed that the first week of teaching starting 4 January will now be delivered through online-only activities.
We will return to our blended approach of online and face-to-face activities from 11 January. Exceptionally, some essential teaching, largely related to placements in healthcare and a few other courses, will continue as originally scheduled in the week commencing 4 January.
This additional week of online only learning will allow more time for you to return to campus.
Although we have made this decision now, we are also still awaiting guidance from the Government about their expectations they may have for your return to study in the New Year. If our plans need to change, we will let you know as soon as possible.
As most teaching will be online in the week of 4 January, you should be able to plan ahead and make any suitable travel arrangements.
