The University of Portsmouth Careers and Employability Service has signed-up to the EFMD Virtual Global Careers Fairs programme for 2020 which will provide our students and graduates with access to graduate jobs, placements and internships with prestigious employers around the world. Over a 6 week period commencing week beginning April 28, the programme will include 2 fairs a week based on a specific sector. The first fair (always on Tuesdays) will focus on opportunities in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and the second (on Thursdays) will focus on APAC (Asia Pacific). A second programme will also be running through the autumn with more details to follow nearer the time.

The virtual fairs will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet with employers, ask questions and apply for jobs.

Guy Townsin, Careers Manager, expressed his excitement at our students and graduates having access to this new resource. He said: “We are delighted to sign-up to the EFMD Virtual Global Careers Fairs programme for 2020. Having access to these fairs will provide our students and graduates with a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with employers and apply for roles, something that has naturally become more difficult during this period. With 2 fairs a week until the middle of June across a range of sectors and opportunities all over the world, including the UK, we hope that as many of our students and graduates will take advantage of this offer as possible.”

In order to register attendance at a fair students will need to login to their EFMD account using their University of Portsmouth credentials at https://port.higheredtalent.org/Login. Staff can also register using their myport credentials.
