A new streaming service for students

The Library has introduced a new streaming service for University of Portsmouth students to access.

Kanopy is a free platform, available using your University credentials. Downloading the app means you can stream it to your TV with Chromecast, Fire TV sticks, and similar hardware. 

Kanopy has a variety of content, including world cinema, acclaimed documentaries such as RBG (2018), and cult films like Donnie Darko (2001) and The Godfather (1972) - essential viewing for any film buff. 

With Kanopy, you can build watchlists, create specific film clips to use in class, and create playlists which can be shared with a single URL. You can log in via the Kanopy website - just click on University, find the 'University of Portsmouth' on the list and enjoy!
