Our speaker this month is University of Portsmouth graduate, Entrepreneur in Residence and successful entrepreneur Andrew Martin, Co-Founder of Inkpact to speak to you about his startup journey focusing on his experience of starting, building, and scaling an online business.
Andrew Martin is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Inkpact. With a huge ambition for social enterprise, he has become a successful ambassador for technical change to enable and empower.
Inkpact, connects the world’s fastest growing brands with their customers, through a team of remote, home working writers. The company provides an alternative to the hundreds of emails that end up in the junk folder. Inkpact have developed an intuitive and easy to use CRM platform that allows brands to send personalised, hand-written notes to their customers.
Andrew has over 12 years experience in building software applications and games. The last 8 focusing on starting and building tech businesses and advising and consulting others.
Previously the founder of Little Kraken Games Studios (recognised as one of the hottest development studios in 2013), Andrew has also developed and built SaaS products and platforms for British Airways, Ikea, and Unilever.
His entrepreneurial roots have taken him from selling video games online, to developing software and technology. He shares his knowledge to other keen entrepreneurs by guest speaking and lecturing.
Acknowledged by the University of Portsmouth, New Economic Models in The Digital Community, he was also featured of the BBC3 TV series ‘Be your own boss’.
Andrew graduated from UoP in 2014 and whilst here undertook a Self-Employment Placement Year.
