Bitesize learning on your phone
New students starting in September 2024 will receive a micro learning course on 12 September with easy to remember advice on harassment and sexual misconduct, delivered via text message and email by our partners GoodCourse.
The course reinforces our Student Charter and expectations of student behaviour and respect, including valuing the people students meet and the places where they study, work, and live; and to be a role model in the ways they treat people with respect, equity and dignity.
Course details
The course will appear initially as a text message from ‘UniOfPorts’, or if you don’t have a mobile number it will be delivered via email from uniofports@goodlearningcourse.com with an app.goodcourse.com link. You can complete it via email or text, whichever you fancy!
And as an added bonus - there are two £25 Amazon vouchers to be won for students who complete the course within the first two weeks. Winners will be drawn at random and contacted by GoodCourse as part of the prize draw.
It will look like this and be a mix of information, videos, gifs and quizzes to check how much you've learned. It's designed to grab attention and be easy to remember, to help everyone to treat each other with respect and be valued members of our diverse and friendly community.
