6 February 2024

2 minutes

Students living in halls of residence will be visited by University staff volunteers to let you know about the University services available to support you whatever challenges you may be facing.

The “Welfare Walkabout” will run on the evenings of Monday 19 February to Friday 1 March 2024 between 4.00pm and 7.00pm.

It’s a collaboration between the University and the Students' Union, to help you find out about the free, non-judgemental and confidential support available within the University to help with everything from wellbeing to money worries.

120 staff volunteers will be aiming to visit 6,725 students over the course of the event.

If you don't live in Halls, don't worry! All students can access University support services, or drop into the MyPort Hub in University House if you have any questions.
