Come and hear from entrepreneurs and founders who will share their startup journeys and experience as part of our regular ‘Be Inspired' online sessions.
Our StartUp mini masterclasses will be short but impactful and allow you the opportunity to gain tangible knowledge and key takeaways on specific topics.
The objective of the mini masterclasses is to provide participants with actionable insights, tools, or techniques that they can implement in their startups or daily lives.
These sessions are open to all students and recent graduates. You will gain the most benefit if you are looking to gain a better understanding of the individual topics.
Meet our Speaker
Our guest speaker this week is Ben Fisher.
Ben is the founder and CEO of both Beu and Appozon. He is passionate about innovation and has a proven track record of utilising technologies to turn problems into products. Ben studied Applied Physics at the University of Portsmouth and soon after graduating founded Beu, a booking, management and payment platform for the hair and beauty industry. This has grown from a simple booking platform to a one-stop shop that manages and automates all aspects of hair and beauty businesses.
Whilst starting Beu, Ben realised there is a gap in the market for quality development at affordable prices. He started another company in 2020 to help European businesses address their development needs. This has grown quickly, and he now has a team of around 30 developers working on a wide range of projects encompassing everything from machine learning, augmented reality, AI, and live streaming.
What will the session cover?
Ben will lead this one hour masterclass and walk you through the process of taking a problem to solution to MVP (minimal viable product).
Ben will utilise his experience in the area of mobile/web/app to lead this session.
There will be time at the end to ask any questions you may have.
