Participants will complete a task which takes approximately 30 minutes. They will then be interviewed about their activities via zoom. Some participants will be required to lie about their activities.

The study will involve participants either lying or telling the truth in an interview about their whereabouts for the 30 minutes prior to the interview. The interview will be done remotely via Zoom. Participants do not need to prepare anything for this study.

Participants will be asked some questions before and after the interview, and a detailed debrief will be the final stage of the study. Participants will receive a £5 Amazon voucher for taking part in the study and will get a conference fee waiver for those who are interested in learning more about lie-detection.
