Use this guide to make sure you can continue your studies for this academic year
Welcome back to Portsmouth. If you are returning to your course in September or October 2024 you'll need to re-register through your Student View
If you started in January 2024 there's no need to re-register at this time.
How to re-register if you're a:
On-campus UK national
Once you receive an email notifying you when you can re-register, log in to your Student View to complete the online registration form (opens 21 August 2024).
You should complete the form before you arrive at the start of term or before your course start date. You'll need to provide a valid term time address during the online registration process.
Once completed, check your student Google email for confirmation that you submitted the form.

On-campus non UK national student
Step 1: Complete the online registration form
Once you receive an email notifying you when you can re-register, log in to your Student View to complete the online registration form.
You should complete the form before you arrive at the start of term or before your course start date. You'll need to provide a valid term time address during the online registration process.
Once completed, check your student Google email for confirmation that you submitted the form.

Step 2: Personal identification (ID) check
You'll also need to re-produce your personal identification documents to us as part of re-registering into the new academic year. This is required at the start of each academic year as part of yours and our obligations to UK Visa and Immigration.
You will receive an email once you have completed the online registration process with further information. We'll let you know which documents you need to bring and where to come to complete your in-person ID Check.
Distance learning courses
If you're studying an off-campus distance-learning course, you need to re-register via the online registration form.
Once you receive an email notifying you when you can re-register, log in to your Student View to complete the online registration form.
Once completed, check your student Google email for confirmation that you successfully submitted the form.
