A new University map highlights over 50 places on campus where reusable water bottles can be refilled, saving money and reducing waste.

The locations include both water refill stations, and University catering outlets, where students, staff and visitors can refill their bottles for free.

If you know of any other water fountains or refill points in University buildings that can be added to the map, please email Nick Leach with details.

Reusable bottles for sale

Around 7.7 billion plastic bottles are bought across the UK each year, creating large amounts of single-use plastic waste. And it’s many hundreds of times more expensive than tap water.

Water bottles that can be reused time and time again can be purchased from the Students Union's shop, in person at the building or online.
