Staff in the University Library have created a new, bespoke resource containing guidance and examples for APA 7th Edition, OSCOLA and Vancouver referencing styles, to assist you with this key part of your academic work.

The resource has been devised in response to feedback from both students and staff, and will replace the institutional subscription to Cite Them Right which was in place during the last academic year. Access to Cite Them Right will end in July.

Having referencing guidance created within the University means it is tailored to your needs. It contains examples from our most commonly used sources, and includes advice based on the questions we are really asked via chat, email and in person.

Help with referencing remains available via chat 24/7, as well as by email at library@port.ac.uk.

From 1 July, the new resource will be available at https://library.port.ac.uk/referencing. Please update any bookmarks you may have created for referencing resources.
