Placement Club: Dedicated Time for Your Placement Search

Flexible, informal sessions to help you wherever you are in your placement journey. Grab a coffee, bring your laptop and come anytime between 11.00am-1.00pm for support.

When and where?

The Placement Club runs during teaching weeks only, 11.00am - 1.00pm, on the following days:

• Every Tuesday in Richmond Building - Study Space, 0.08

• Some Wednesdays in Park Building -  21 Oct - PK Basement | 11 Nov - PK Learning Resource Centre | 2 Dec - PK Basement

• Every Thursday in Eldon Building, Social Space, 0.05

Available to Undergraduate students on a course with an Optional Placement Year or master's students with Professional Experience.

How it works

When you arrive, one of our advisers will chat with you about what you want to achieve during the session and help you make the most of your time. You'll then work at your own pace, with advisers and previous placement students on hand throughout to answer questions, provide feedback and offer guidance.

Why attend?

The Placement Club provides a relaxed space to work on all things placements, including:

• Searching and applying for roles

• Getting your application, CV or cover letter checked

• Seeking advice for an upcoming interview/assessment centre

You'll get advice from previous placement students and have the chance to connect with others who are also searching for placements. Our Placement team will be available to answer your questions and support you throughout the process.
