Take part in a free workshop
Growing and nurturing fruit, veg, herbs and other plants can be a very relaxing activity.
If you are interested in cultivating green fingers then this workshop opportunity may just be for you.
Learn how to grow your own fruit / veg / herbs in small spaces with Pot Gang. No experience required! Pot Gang will run a fun workshop explaining how to grow your own produce and will provide all the equipment to get you started. The workshop will include:
- Introduction to Pot Gang
- Discussion about what we're growing and the benefits associated
- Live demo and group planting session with all equipment provided
- Quiz / Competitions and a Q&A
- Tea infusion tasting
- Tote 'goodie bag' to take home
- Two small windowsill herbs to take home each
The University is hosting the workshop on Wednesday 12 February between 1.00pm and 4.00pm in Eldon Building Courtyard (don’t worry, we’re providing gazebos for shelter – just wrap up warm).
We only have a limited number of places available, so we’re offering this opportunity on a first come first serve basis.
Please email academicservices@port.ac.uk to express your interest and we’ll confirm as soon as possible if you have a place.
