Santander Brighter Futures Grant 2025
Fancy £1,000 for life admin? Brighter Futures Grants are back, giving you the chance to win one of 10 grants of £1,000 in partnership with Santander.
Use the funds for anything that helps you focus on your studies, such as rent, bills, groceries, textbooks, or tech.
All students are eligible to enter, including undergraduates, postgraduates, part-time and full-time students. You don’t need to bank with Santander to participate.

Our partnership with Santander Universities
We have worked in partnership with Santander, through Santander Universities, since 2018. In that time Santander Universities has provided over £267,000 of funding to schemes at the University of Portsmouth, including:
- financial grants for students in hardship
- grants and training programmes for student entrepreneurs
- mobility grants for students to study overseas
