Last week saw the return of two highlights of the University calendar to campus - Global Week and Varsity.
Varsity 2022
Varsity returned to Portsmouth for the first time since 2019. Among the supporters who turned out to back Team UoP were students, staff, alumni, families and the local MP.

Esports Varsity event
The week also saw the first ever Portsmouth vs Southampton Varsity Esports event, hosted at our Students' Union. Games the teams competed in included Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, League of Legends and Rocket league, Rainbow 6 and Overwatch
Global Week 2022
A week of events celebrated the incredible cultural diversity at the University and within our city's community - with a highlight being the long-awaited return of the Festival of Cultures.
