Self-employed Placements
Did you know you may be eligible to complete a Self-Employed Placement year? Replacing the traditional year in industry, the self-employed placement year gives you the time and space you need to focus on developing and growing your own business or freelancing venture. During the year, you will get support from the Student StartUp Team through 1-1s, hands-on workshops and funding opportunities.

Applications for Student StartUp funding are now live! If you have a business or freelancing idea that you’d like to explore further, you can apply for up to £3,000 to support with anything from conducting market research to launching a product or service. Applications close on Sunday 12 May.
