When and where?

This is an online session taking place on Monday 2 November, 2.00pm-3.00pm.

How it works

When booking the event, you will receive a confirmation email with a link for joining the event. On the day of the session, please log in 5 minutes before the start. If you encounter any technical issues before or during the event, please contact [email protected]. There will be time at the end of the session for you to ask questions.

Why attend?

By attending this event, you will receive:

  • Essential Placement Preparation: Get the vital tools and knowledge needed to prepare for your year-long optional placement, whether you stay in the UK or head abroad.
  • Expert Financial Guidance: Receive practical budgeting advice from the University's Student Money team regarding available funding, student loans and managing your everyday finances.
  • International Working Advice: Learn the requirements, preparations and key considerations necessary to secure and thrive in an international placement.

You'll get advice from previous placement students and have the chance to connect with others who are also searching for placements. Our Placement team will be available to answer your questions and support you throughout the process.
