Installing the PaperCut client and adding the PaperCut print queue (STAFF)

In order to print from a linux device, you will need to install the PaperCut client.  Please take care when following these instructions, and if you are unsure of any of the steps then please contact IS for further assistance.

These instructions are for STAFF printers only.  We do not as yet have a solution for student printers, however please contact the Service Desk to register your interest.

Please ensure you are connected to the VPN when setting up and downloading the PaperCut client.  The printing solution is for on-campus printing only.

Changing Printer Settings

If you want to print double-sided, you can change the settings as follows:

2. Click Printers.
3. Depending on your system, you may have to press Unlock in the top right corner and type in your password when prompted.
4. Click Additional Printer Settings... (the button at the bottom right corner).
5. Right-Click on VR-Staff-Print-NS and select Properties.
6. Click on Job Options, and then click on More under Common Options.
