WORKING GLOBALLY

Working Globally

Discover how to get experience working abroad during vacations or when you graduate

Many students and graduates of the University of Portsmouth are interested in working outside the UK.

You may be an international student planning to return home to find work. Or a UK student keen to get some experience working overseas during the vacation or after you graduate. The following resources will help you.

Exclusive resources

As a University of Portsmouth student or graduate you can access the following platforms to search for jobs globally. Please be aware that the links below will take you to third party sites and you will be leaving the University of Portsmouth website. Any personal data that you enter into the third party site will be handled and processed by someone other than the University of Portsmouth and you are advised to read that party's privacy notices.

GoinGlobal

Exclusive to Portsmouth students and graduates, GoinGlobal has over 16 million graduate jobs and internships across the globe. Also contains multilingual job search and extensive country profiles including advice on visas, wages, work-life and labour market information.

In order to retain access to GoinGlobal once your MyPort email address has expired, you will need to create a Personal Account on the site. You can find this option on the right side of the homepage (you will need to scroll down) under ‘Personalise your GoinGlobal Experience’ - Create Account. You can do this at any point once you have logged in for the first time using your MyPort email address. If you are having trouble accessing the site or you have already lost access to your MyPort email address then please contact us on careers@port.ac.uk.

EFMD Talent Portal

Exclusive to Portsmouth students and graduates, EFMD Talent Portal provides global internships and graduate jobs.

In order to retain access to the EFMD Talent Portal once your MyPort email address has expired, you will need to create an account with the site using your personal email address. You can then verify status as a University of Portsmouth student or graduate at the top of the screen (there will be a red exclamation mark stating this and you will not have full access to the service until you have done so). If you are having trouble accessing the site or you have already lost access to your MyPort email address then please contact us on careers@port.ac.uk
