Whether you're starting your postgraduate course with us or returning after your first year, we're pleased to welcome you to the University. We hope you're excited to get started.
Accessing your online accounts
If your induction includes online activities, you'll need your student account details to access them. Your username will consist of 'UP' followed by your student ID number (for example, UP123456).
You’ll also need to log into Moodle to find all the details about your course. You’ll only have access to Moodle once you complete your registration with us.

12.00pm - 2.00pm: Welcome and Introduction from Course Team
During this session, you'll be introduced to your course leader, teaching team, and the study community team. You'll also learn about your course, the IT and Library resources available to you, and have the chance to ask your questions and gain further information.

International and EU students
If you're joining us from overseas, find out about our International Orientation events and what you need to do in your first week.
You'll need to join us in Portsmouth for the start of course. Information about registering, collecting your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP card) and ID checks for the new academic year will be sent to you by email.
