The entry requirements for our teaching training vary by course, but applying is straightforward whichever course you choose.

For primary PGCE courses

- To apply for the 1 year PGCE Primary course, you'll need to apply through the Department of Education with the DfE training code X3X1.
- For the 3 year Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status BEd, you can apply through UCAS with the UCAS course code X320.
For secondary PGCE courses
You'll need to apply to the secondary PGCE course through the Department for Education with the DfE training code for your chosen subject. Find your subject code on the PGCE courses page.
