We did: We spent a nearly £3 million more on resources this academic year to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.
You said: Finding what we need from among our electronic resources can be challenging.
We did: We shaped our subject pages into learning pathways to guide you through the research process and upgraded the Discovery Service to make it easier to find what you need from a simple search using powerful tools to pinpoint the evidence most relevant to your research question.
Creating a warmer welcome
You said: We appreciate the range of foods that help you stay well while studying but needed help to make your money go further.
We did: We offered microwaves so you can reheat economical, home-cooked food and eat sustainably and well on a budget.
You said: You enjoy being surrounded by attractive works of art.
We did: We expanded our display space and turned the Library into an exhibition space, showcasing the work of students, alumni and local artists. There is nothing like the feeling when we see the burgeoning confidence of students seeing their work exhibited in public for the first time.
