Have you supported your local community this academic year? You could win £100 just by letting us know.

If you have volunteered during this academic year, thank you. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated and recognised by us and those in the local community.

The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is a free electronic document providing a comprehensive record of your achievements during your studies. The HEAR will record information related to your qualification such as entry requirements, course content and objectives but also records wider achievements like volunteering activities.

As an extra thank you from the Volunteering Team, those who have volunteered this year will go into a draw to win a £100 amazon voucher. To be eligible for the prize, you must have volunteered with a not-for-profit organisation since August 2020. All you have to do is fill your details into our short form, and you will automatically go into the draw.

We will also record all eligible volunteering on your HEAR document, which you can share with graduate employers to evidence your achievements during your studies*.

If you have any questions or are interested in finding out more about volunteering, visit our website or contact the Volunteering Team at volunteering@port.ac.uk.

*Please note: If you sourced your volunteering through MyCareer, we will have already recorded this for you and you will automatically be entered into the draw. Only students on UG courses, not part of a placement, will be eligible for their volunteering to be included on the HEAR.
