The University Library is once again opening 24/7 during term-time all year to enable you to study when it suits you best. With our Click & Collect reservations service, postal loans for distance learners, and self-service kiosks in the Library where you can borrow and return books at any time, our printed book stock is available all the time we are open.

Library eresources are available 24/7 from anywhere over the internet as well. If you connect via the University VPN, most eresources will allow you to connect seamlessly without even having to log on.

Library staff are available to support you at predictable and consistent times throughout the academic year, from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday every week, including most vacation periods, and from 11.00am to 3.00pm at weekends. You can always find the current and upcoming opening and staffed hours for the Library on the library website.

Professional library staff offer a library skills drop-in service between 11.00am to 3.00pm Mondays - Fridays and online chat support from 9.00am to 5.00pm where you can ask them anything about finding information and using academic resources, enjoy demonstrations of key resources for your subject, receive coaching to enhance your information searching and get tips and tricks that will help you pinpoint what you need more rapidly and effectively. You can always chat with a librarian live online through the Library website 24/7, and we answer emails within one working day - often much sooner. So, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't be strangers! Get in touch and we will be able to help you.
