We've listened to your concerns and will find a solution
Thank you to all those who attended our Estates Masterplan Consultation Event on Tuesday 20 February. It was great to see so many students share their thoughts on our campus development proposals.
Through this event and feedback left online, we heard loud and clear how essential the Student Union building is for Societies to exist. We know how important these groups are in providing friendships and creating memorable experiences during your time here.
The new Student Hub will provide you and future students with an even better space to come together. We will need to temporarily close the existing Student Union while the construction work is underway. While we can’t confirm dates yet, we will find a suitable temporary building to ensure that you still have access to a space until the work is complete. We understand your frustration and disappointment but ask for your patience as we work to find a solution. We will keep you informed on any developments.
