With the Government Covid restrictions easing again on Monday 17 May there’ll be lots more things you can do and businesses you can support in the city.
From Monday you’ll be able to enjoy many more indoor services and facilities with friends and family.
Go out for dinner
Most cafes, restaurants and pubs will be reopening for bookings for sitting indoors, including Southsea Coffee on Osborne Road, Outside In food court on Middle Street and Croxtons on Palmerston Road. Don’t forget to book as they’ll be popular!
See a film on the big screen
With cinemas reopening, you’ll be able to upgrade from your laptop at the end of the bed to a big screen. Who can't wait to get back to those comfy seats, surround sound and a box of popcorn! Over the coming weeks check out what’s on at Vue Portsmouth, Odeon Port Solent and Portsmouth Film Society.
Board games, arcades, and bowling
There’s plenty to do with your mates - try out the latest board games and craft beer at Dice Portsmouth on Albert Road, play air hockey at Clarence Pier, or go for a strike at Hollywood Bowl at Gunwharf Quays.
Stay with family and friends
You’ll now be able to stay overnight with friends and family you don’t live with - whether it's taking a trip back home to see your parents, or booking a weekend away with your mates. You should still social distance where possible.
More information on how the rules are changing is available on the Government website.
