Bring your broken appliances to the Repair Café, have them fixed for free, and do your part in reducing waste.
Got something broken? Fairy lights that won’t shine? Hair straighteners that won’t heat up? A missing button on your favourite top? Bring it along to the University of Portsmouth’s first on-campus Repair Café and get it fixed for free on Tuesday 18 November.
A Repair Café is a community event where volunteers help repair household items, such as small appliances, clothing, and electronics, free of charge. It’s a great way to save money, reduce waste, and learn practical repair skills.
How to take part:
Drop in anytime between 12.00–3.00pm to the Portland Building Atrium
Or book a repair slot in advance (form submitted to Share Portsmouth, external to the University)
Open to all University of Portsmouth staff and students.
