Applications for the Portsmouth Football Club Scholarship are open to all Second-Year students until midnight on 11 January. 

This fantastic opportunity offers two bursaries of £3,000 (paid in two instalments) to Second-Year students who meet the eligibility criteria.

The scholarship supports students who are from the Portsmouth (PO) area before starting University, who are UK fee-paying, aged 25 or under, and are the first in their family to attend university and/or have a household income under £35,000.

Scholarships will focus on four key areas developed with Portsmouth FC:

  • The Academy – championing the Club's work around player development
  • Environmental Impact – supporting sustainability projects at the Club
  • Women’s Team Campaign – growing the women’s game through marketing and communications
  • IT Investigation and Innovation – exploring AI and digital innovation in football

Successful applicants will act as ambassadors for both the University and PFC, sharing their journey to inspire others.
