ASDAC, the Student Wellbeing Service and Student Finance will be renamed from 3 November
From Monday 3 November, some of the key support services that are available to students are being renamed:
- The Additional Support and Disability Advice Centre (ASDAC) will become Disability Advice
- Student Wellbeing Service will become Student Wellbeing
- Student Finance will become Student Money
You may have seen these names already in use, but they’ll officially be known by these names from 3 November.
The department that these services sit under is also being renamed. Student Support Services will be renamed Student Services.
Will the support they offer change?
No. The support these teams offer students will stay the same; the new names better reflect the support they offer students.
