Need extra study space? Eldon Building to open on Saturdays during assessments

To support students during the busy assessment period, Eldon Building will open on Saturdays from 25 April to 6 June inclusive.

Students from all subjects across the University are able to take advantage of group study areas on the ground floor and the IT Open Access facilities on the first floor.

In addition to the building’s regular opening hours, Eldon will be open 10.00am–3.00pm each Saturday from 25 April until 6 June, providing additional on-campus study space during the assessment period. 

Students will need their Student ID cards to be able to access the building, and security staff will be available on site. Please note that study areas and studios will not be staffed with academic or technical support during these hours. 

Microwave facilities on the ground floor will be available for students. 

Please note: On Saturday 25 April, Eldon Building will also be used for a University Open Experience Day. Students will still be able to access the building, but it is expected to be busier than usual.
