Learn about the wide range of Student Services and community organisations available to you.

University Student Services and organisations from the community will be there to meet and ask questions so you can get the most from your time at university.

The Fair is running on Thursday 6 March between 12.00pm and 3.00pm in the Portland Atrium.

Featuring a variety of University Student Services and community organisations, the event will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the resources available to support you.

Guests from the local community include:

  • Repair Café Portsmouth: Showcasing their “library of things” with the motto “Borrow don’t buy – Fix it don’t ditch it.”
  • Spark: A community hub offering support to those feeling marginalised, providing a welcoming space for tea, cake, skill-building, and volunteering opportunities. They also run free workshops, a pay-what-you-can café, and a charity shop with affordable items.
  • Andy’s Men’s Club: A national network aimed at breaking the stigma around men’s mental health, offering support and information on local meetings.

These are just some of the services that will be attending to help support you, save you money, help with your mental health, help you feel part of the city and make the most of your time here in Portsmouth.
