Learn how to talk about your money habits, avoid fraud, and get support at this year’s Talk Money Week, runnin from 15 - 19 November 2021.

Get talking about money issues

If you find it hard to talk about money, you’re not alone.

Talk Money Week helps you open up about your personal finances and get help and advice where needed. This can also help improve your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.

This year we are also focusing on fraud and ‘money mules’. Criminals are using students and others to unwittingly move funds through their bank accounts - and this is on the increase. The amount of young people who are being affected by this type of fraud is growing, so we want to make sure you know how to spot and avoid it.

Throughout the week we will be running a number of virtual sessions about money issues including what to do when friends want to borrow money, what benefits you may be entitled to, and how to avoid common scams.

If you share your money habits at our information stand at the Library, or come along to a webinar (and provide us with feedback), you’ll be added to a prize draw to win an Amazon voucher worth £100.
