If you are currently on a Master’s or MRes programme, you’re probably thinking about what to do after finishing your course. Have you considered doing a PhD?
A PhD is a globally recognised postgraduate degree that involves extensive and original research into your specific chosen field. Through your PhD, you’ll make an important contribution to research or even help solve problems that matter.
What is on offer?
Some bursaries fund tuition fees only, while others cover tuition fees at the UK rate for three years plus a stipend in line with the UKRI rate (£20,780 for 2025/26)
How to apply
If you want to pursue a funded PhD research project, then get in touch with the project supervisors today. Applications for most programmes close on Friday 16 January.
