If you're graduating this year, make sure you update your email address in MyCareer so you can keep accessing your account after your course ends.

As a University of Portsmouth graduate, you’ll continue to have access to Careers Support for up to five years after completing your course.

Your gateway to this support is MyCareer. Through your account, you can browse job opportunities, book appointments with careers advisers, and sign up for skills events.

To keep using MyCareer after you graduate, you’ll need to update your email address from your university account to a personal one.

Don't worry - this isn't so we can send you lots of emails. This simply ensures that you maintain access to MyCareer after your university email account is closed. 

 

Follow these steps to update your default email address

  1. Sign in to your MyCareer account
  2. Add your preferred email address to the "Alternative email" box
  3. Click the blue "Make default" link below the box - and done.
