The Santander Career Support Award 2025-26 is a new initiative to support 60 students with £250 and help make that next career opportunity a reality.
Taking the next step in your career often comes with unexpected costs. The award is designed to help with expenses, such as:

travelling to an interview
-
professional clothing
-
equipment or essentials for a placement or internship
-
other costs linked to your next career step
A small amount of funding can make a big difference. This award is here to help you say yes to opportunities that build your experience, confidence and future career.

Applications open: Monday 23 February 2026

Application deadline: Thursday 7 May 2026 at 11pm

Winners notified by: Thursday 21 May 2026
You must apply before the deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.
Payments will be made to successful students after they are notified.
Who can apply
You must:
-
be aged 18 or over
-
be a full-time or part-time student in the 2025/26 academic year
(undergraduate or postgraduate) -
be applying for an activity taking place in the 2025/26 academic year (this can include activities starting up to 31 August 2026)
You do not need to be a Santander customer to apply.
How to apply
Applications are made through Santander Open Academy.

Log in and select the Santander Career Support Award 2025 to 2026.

Complete the short application form.

Upload a valid student ID and confirm your university.
Apply by Thursday 7 May 2026 at 11pm.
