Workshop on Investigating Research Misconduct in UK Universities


This free, London located, all-day workshop will cover practical experience and recent guidance on how universities can practically handle allegations of research misconduct. Contributions will include the UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) describing their recently developed guidance and tools for investigating breaches of research integrity, a research ethicist and a lawyer describing recent practical examples, and a contribution from a Wellcome Trust funded project aiming to reduce the barriers and stresses in the research misconduct process for researchers.

The workshop is primarily aimed at university staff and academics who are asked to investigate research integrity issues.
