We're bringing Sexual Wellbeing, Safety and Support events directly to you throughout the academic year. These events are designed to help create a campus culture where students feel informed, empowered, and confident to make healthy choices, understand consent, challenge harmful behaviours, and access support where needed.
Join us at drop-in events across campus and in your halls of residence. Our flagship week-long roadshows will take place in September, February and April, with additional drop-in events running throughout the year.
At our drop-in events you will find:
- Student Services staff to answer any general questions you may have about all things sexual health - you really can ask us anything. Nothing is taboo here!
- Confidential 1:1 chats with an NHS Relationship and Sex Education trained member of staff or the opportunity to book a follow up appointment
- Interactive themed activities - from learning about consent and healthy relationships to reflecting on your own behaviour, to learning tips on how to be an active bystander and challenging harmful behaviour, you will be equipped with all the right tools to help keep our University community safe.
- Freebies including condoms, dental dams, stickers, and more!
- Signposting to specialist services such as our Sexual Violence Liasion Officer (SVLO) team, Student Wellbeing, NHS Sexual Health, NHS Treetops Centre, and local specialist counselling teams
- Representation from local community services will be present at some of our events too!

This September we're focussing on starting uni, staying safe, and looking out for each other.
Starting university is an exciting time, but it can also bring lots of new experiences, relationships and responsibilities. Our aim is to help you feel informed, supported and confident from the very start of the academic year.
