Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially those individuals who face structural barriers or may have never considered the idea of launching a startup. UPSkill Workshop - Knowing your Why

10 Steps to Starting Up

This practical workshop aims to take you through the essential steps you need to consider when starting your own venture.That could be starting your own business, freelancing, developing a product or building a social enterprise or charity. It will equip you with the foundational knowledge to start your business and begin your entrepreneurial journey. This step by step programme enables participants to develop their idea into a real venture and have the chance to apply for seed funding later in the year.
Open Co-Working Day

Starting your own business? Did you know that as a University of Portsmouth student you can get free access to co-working space thank to Innovation Connect.
Innovation Connect offers co-working space to help you grow your business right here on campus. It can also introduce you to new and exciting local companies and start ups and provide access to business networks.
On Friday 21 November, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Innovation Connect are opening their doors all day, so you can test out what it's like to be an entrepreneur.
