Santander Fuel Your Studies Prize Draw 2026

Santander’s Fuel your studies prize draw is open now, giving eligible students the chance to win 1 of 150 prizes of £500 in food and grocery vouchers.

The prize can be used towards groceries, eating out, takeaways and food on the go, including selected brands such as Tesco, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Just Eat, Nando’s, Wagamama, Costa and more.

Who can apply?

• You must be 18+ and UK resident.
• Open to existing students and those about to start studies in 2026/27 at any UK higher education or further education institution. Plus, those completing a degree apprenticeship.
• Undergrads, postgrads, part-time and full-time students.
• No need to be a Santander customer.

Win a £1,000 Brighter Futures Grant

Thanks to our partnership with Santander, 10 students at the University of Portsmouth will each receive a £1,000 Brighter Futures Grant.

The grant is yours to spend however you choose, whether that's rent, bills, study equipment or everyday living costs.

Who can apply?

• Current students aged 18 or over
• Undergraduate or postgraduate
• Full-time or part-time
• You don’t need to bank with Santander to apply

Applying is simple

• Register for Santander Open Academy (if you haven't already).
• Verify your email address.
• Log in and select 'Get Started'.
• Choose University of Portsmouth and complete your application.
