IBM CAREER COACHING SCHEME

Mentoring for our disabled or neurodivergent students.

The IBM coaching scheme is designed to provide you with valuable insight into a career area that interests you. As an undergraduate who identifies as disabled or neurodivergent, you have the opportunity to develop your confidence and key skills to prepare you for your graduate career, regardless of your degree discipline.

There is no other company like IBM, and there is no business professional like the 'IBMer' who are experts in technical and business fields. IBM creates advanced technology to change how clients work. And through them, 'IBMers' change how the world works.

What is the IBM Coaching Scheme?

The IBM Coaching Scheme provides a minimum of 5x 1-to-1 sessions with a professional mentor from IBM. Sessions are held between December and May with the option of having in-person or virtual meetings.

By taking part, you'll receive:

  • Boost Your Skills: Through one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshops, you'll develop key skills to boost your employability.
  • Build Your Network: Connect with IBM professionals and fellow students, building relationships that could shape your career.
  • Tailored Support: Whether you need career advice, interview tips, or insights into the industry, your coach is there to help.
  • Flexible Options: Choose in-person or virtual coaching sessions to fit your schedule and comfort level.
