Monday 23 February, 3.30pm-4.30pm, Careers Centre
Join our interactive leadership session with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, featuring real police scenarios, guidance, teamwork activities, and practical tips to build confidence and leadership skills.
International students: Graduate job search in the UK
Tuesday 24 February, 10am-11am, Careers Centre
This session shares practical advice on finding UK work after study, including identifying employers and hidden roles, with insights from Tripti Maheshwari, Co-Founder of Student Circus.
Summer Opportunities Fair
Tuesday 24 February, 1pm-4pm, Portland Building
Looking for summer work or an internship? Don’t miss the Summer Opportunities Fair, 1pm-4pm in the Portland Atrium.
Employers will be on hand, offering local and national roles. This is your chance to chat with them, ask questions, and explore opportunities - all in a relaxed setting.
Placement Club
Tuesdays in Richmond Building and Thursdays in Eldon Building, 11am-1pm
Alongside our daily drop-in and 1-1 appointments, you can come to Placement Club and spend a little longer with the team to work on your applications and placement search. You'll be supported by our Placement Advisers and previous placement students.
Psychometric Testing Tips
Thursday 26 February, 1pm-2pm, Careers Centre
If you want to know what a psychometric test is, why they're used and how to perform well, this is the session for you. We will cover the most popular test types employers include in their recruitment and selection processes, looking at what to expect and how to practise.
