Join us at the Careers and Placements Fair
Tuesday 20 October, 11am-3pm, Ravelin Sports Centre
Our biggest careers fair of the year. Meet employers recruiting students from all degree subjects, explore graduate, placement and internship opportunities, and discover where your degree could take you.
Placement Club
Tuesdays in Richmond Building and Thursdays in Eldon Building, 11am-1pm
Alongside our daily drop-in and 1-1 appointments, you can come to Placement Club and spend a little longer with the team to work on your applications and placement search. You'll be supported by our Placement Advisers and previous placement students.
10 Steps to Starting Up
Wednesday 21 October, 9.30am-12.30pm, Careers Centre
The essential steps you need to know when starting your own venture. That could be starting your own business, freelancing, developing a product or building a social enterprise or charity. Additional resources and access to further support will be provided following the workshop.
Placements: What You Need to Know

Interested in doing a placement but not sure where to start?
Come along to our Placement Information Afternoon and find out everything you need to know. We'll cover what placements are, the opportunities available to you and how to begin your search. You'll also have the chance to hear from students who have completed placements and ask them your questions.

Entrepreneurial Collective
Thursday 22 October, Eldon Building
Our monthly meetups bring the entrepreneurial community together in person.
These informal gatherings help students and graduates expand their networks, share ideas, learn from others, and find inspiration from people on similar journeys.
