Whether you're starting your postgraduate course with us or returning after your first year, we're pleased to welcome you to the University. We hope you're excited to get started.
Accessing your online accounts
If your induction includes online activities, you'll need your student account details to access them. Your username will consist of 'UP' followed by your student ID number (for example, UP123456).
You’ll also need to log into Moodle to find all the details about your course. You’ll only have access to Moodle once you complete your registration with us.

10.00am - 11.00am: Welcome to your Postgraduate course! (Online session for students not yet in the UK)
In this session, you'll will meet your course leadership team and be briefed about the course and our expectations of you. You'll also learn about sources of support and guidance available to you and have the chance to ask your questions and gain further information.
12.00pm - 1.00pm: Welcome to your Postgraduate course!

If you're joining us from overseas, find out about our International Orientation events and what you need to do in your first week.
You'll need to join us in Portsmouth for the start of course. Information about registering, collecting your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP card) and ID checks for the new academic year will be sent to you by email.
